FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas - Fort Bend Independent School District gave the green light Monday on attendance boundary changes for two schools.

The changes impact Fort Settlement and First Colony middle schools.

There was mixed reaction from parents.

The district said the attendance boundary shift will prevent overcrowding at either middle school.

New bus routes will not be required because of the changes.
