'Finding Nemo' sequel coming in 2015

Ellen Degeneres announces on her Instagram account

HOUSTON – I have lost count of how many times I've watched 'Finding Nemo' with my children. We watched it at home, on road trips, and even at pool parties on the big screen. It's one of our FAVORITE movies. So, you can imagine how excited I was when I learned a 'Finding Nemo' sequel in the working and it will be called 'Finding Dory.'

I mean. YES! This has been a LONG time coming. Right? Ellen Degeneres will play the part of Dory. Who ELSE would be play her? This was a given. She announced the movie on her show, but also via social media featuring the official movie logo.

So, what will the movie be like? According to Director and Pixar veteran Andrew Stanton, audiences will be taken back to the extraordinary underwater world created in the original film. "There is no Dory without Ellen," said Stanton. "She won the hearts of moviegoers all over the world—not to mention our team here at Pixar. One thing we couldn't stop thinking about was why she was all alone in the ocean on the day she met Marlin. In 'Finding Dory,' she will be reunited with her loved ones, learning a few things about the meaning of family along the way."

Are you excited? I am and, apparently, so is Twitter. News traveled fast and ‘Finding Dory' quickly started trending. Reactions looked a little like this:
