Astros player looking for fans with World Series tattoos

Pitcher Joe Musgrove wants to hear from you

HOUSTON – You've probably seen it all over H-Town: Astros fans displaying their pride in the World Series champions by wearing shirts, caps and other forms of merchandise.

But some fans are going a step further ... by getting their Astros devotion inked onto their skin. If you're one of those tattoo-sporting fans, pitcher Joe Musgrove wants to hear from you.

Musgrove sent out the plea on Twitter: "Anyone who got some World Series Ink send me pictures!"

The responses to @musgrove23Stros have been pouring in ever since.

John Charles @jcbyayouknowme tweeted Musgrove a photo of his tattoo and wrote: "When I got the original, I made sure that enough room was left for a trophy."

Anne @SAPO21 showed off a picture of her tattoo of a giant Astros logo. She wrote: "Not as fancy as some, but it still hurt. Worth the pain though."

@ElScrapo2 went with a tribute to the Lone Star State, with the Astros logo in the state of Texas: "Got this one last week because of the win! GO STROS!!"
