This is where Houston ranks for streaming love songs on Amazon's Alexa devices

HOUSTON – Not only is love in the air, but it’s playing from Alexa devices, and Houston is ranked fourth for streaming love and romance songs in the U.S.

Amazon Music’s data, revealed Tuesday, showed more than 100,000 residents in the area stream love songs on their Alexas on a per capita basis.

Houston isn’t the only love capital in Texas. San Antonio is ranked fifth in the U.S.

However, Las Vegas, also known as “The Wedding Capital of the World,” ranked first for the second year in a row, with Phoenix in second place and San Diego in third. 

So far in 2018, Demi Lovato’s “Sorry Not Sorry’ is ranked as the most-streamed love-related song, while a more hopeful love song, Thomas Rhett’s “Die a Happy Man,” is in second place.
