Houston police said one of the males attempted to rob the other at gunpoint, when the victim suddenly pulled his gun, and they started shooting at each other.

When police arrived at the scene, they found two shooting victims. One male victim was shot in the back, the other male victim was shot twice, once in the side and once in the hand -- a defensive wound, Houston police said.

Police initially believed this may have been a drive-by shooting. No arrests have been made.
