Firefighters arrived to find the northeast corner of the building engulfed in flames. Officials said the fire was spreading quickly so they called for more units.

Fire officials said the first crew to arrive to the apartment complex immediately surrounded the fire and slowed it down.

Firefighters then worked quickly to evacuate residents. After a primary search of the complex all residents were accounted for, officials said.

Fire officials said approximately 60 units were affected by the fire. Some of the units were completely destroyed, and others have severe water and smoke damage.

There were no reports of civilian or firefighter injuries, officials say.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
