The president will then head to Austin, where he will tour the state's Emergency Operations Center and receive a briefing about the storm with state leadership.

Trump will leave for Washington about 5:30 p.m.

Tropical Storm Harvey on Friday slammed into Rockport, Texas, as a Category 4 hurricane with winds of about 120 mph. The storm has weakened since then, but it has continued to dump record amounts of rain across southeast Texas, resulting in catastrophic flooding.
