HOUSTON –
Legendary Houston radio host Jim Pruett has died, according to his family.

Pruett's former co-worker Lanny Griffith posted on Facebook early Saturday morning that the former disc jockey passed away Friday.
Pruett was half of the duo on "Pruett and Stevens" on KLOL-FM.
Mark Stevens, his on-air partner, died in 2011.
