HOUSTON – Several westbound lanes of Katy Freeway just before Gessner were closed after a crash with an ejection, officials said.
The wreck was reported just after 9:30 a.m.

Investigators said a woman was thrown from a vehicle in the 2-car crash.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
All lanes were reopened around 10:15 a.m.
