SAN ANTONIO – Giovanni Marcello Sarles, 18, is one of five men accused of breaking into a woman's home, hitting her in the head with a handgun and stabbing her in the leg.

Police said Sarles was friends with the woman since they were younger.

Investigators said he and four other men on Sunday busted into the woman's West Side home on Amber Breeze.

The woman told police that the men asked about her boyfriend, who had been arguing with Sarles earlier in the day.

When the men realized the boyfriend was not there, they tried to take a 60-inch TV.

The woman tried to stop them and they attacked her as the left the home.

Police arrested Sarles and charged him with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. There has been no word on any other arrests.
