Man arrested for allegedly throwing alligator through Wendy's drive-thru window

Joshua James,23, of Florida, has been arrested for allegedly throwing an alligator through a Wendy's drive-thru window.

James faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, petit theft, and  unlawful possession of an alligator, according to Palm Beach County Jail records.

According to an incident report from the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, James allegedly threw the 3-and-a-half foot gator through the drive-thru window after being served a large drink in Loxahatchee.

The incident report also indicates that James told investigators he found the alligator on the side of the road and brought it to Wendy's. According to NBC affiliate WPTV, the gator was later released into a canal.
