WHARTON COUNTY, Texas – The Wharton County Sheriff's Office is investigating a string of home burglaries in which guns were stolen.
The sheriff's office released two surveillance images of a who man investigators believe burglarized several homes in the County Road 216 area in Hungerford off Highway 59. Numerous guns were stolen from those homes.

According to investigators, the man is driving a small four-door, silver or gray car. They also believe that he has an orange or reddish tint to his hair and appears to have a mohawk-type cut.
Investigators believe that he may not be acting alone. They believe at least one other person might have participated in the crimes.
