Frontier removing departure times on boarding passes

HOUSTON – Frontier Airlines has removed departure times on its boarding passes.

USA Today reports the pass now lists the time that boarding begins and the time that the boarding door closes, which is 10 minutes before departure.

Frontier says it hopes the change will have fewer people rushing to the gate after the doors close so that planes can take off on time or even earlier if everyone is in their seats.

More than 18,000 pieces of children's furniture is being recalled in the U.S.

This involves Pali design armoires, combos, dressers and hutches sold at Babies R US, online and in independent baby stores.

The manufacturer says the plastic restraint strap used to attach furniture to a wall can break and allow the unit to tip over and trap a child.

The items were sold from January 2006 to September 2010.

Consumers should contact Pali for a free retrofit kit containing new materials.
