HOUSTON – An armed carjacking leads to a police chase through north Houston.
The incident beganTuesday morning at a CVS on the North Freeway when a customer said someone held him up at knifepoint and took off in his car.

Police spotted the stolen car, a dark blue or black Kia, near Yale and Crosstimbers and chased it until the driver crashed near the 610 North Loop and Shepherd shortly before 10 a.m.
Three main lanes and one shoulder lane of the North Loop westbound were shut down due to the accident.
We're told everyone inside the car was taken into custody.
