HOUSTON – A man was killed and a woman was injured in a double shooting at an apartment complex in southwest Houston Saturday night.
According to police, two masked men approached the victims at the Casa Miranda Apartments around 9:30 p.m Saturday. The suspects then opened fire on the victims and ran away.

The man, 23-year-old Kurtrivas Carmouch, died at the scene. The woman was shot multiple times and was taken to the hospital in serious, but stable condition.
Police described the suspects as black males. Officials said they believe the shooting was gang-related.
