MIAMI – Michael Brown's attorney says his client has a new plea in the case where he is accused of an interference with a flight crew. His original plea was not guilty.
These charges stem from an incident on a London to Miami flight January second, in which court documents say Brown entered the forward gallery and confronted flight attendants, demanding his food and wine early.
Then, the documents say, flight attendants led Brown back to his seat, saying he would be served his food shortly.
In response, the documents say, he pulled a flight attendant towards him and made sexual comments.
According to the documents, after Brown let go of the flight attendant, she told the cabin service director about the incident and the flight cabin was notified.
According to the documents, when another flight attendant came to serve Brown his meal, Brown stood up and spilled the meal on his lap. He moved toward the flight aisle, put his hands around the flight attendant's neck and began to squeeze her.
Another came over to assist her fellow flight attendant. At that moment, according to the document, Brown grabbed her by the neck as well and made rude sexual comments to both attendants.
Brown was arrested after the flight landed.
A hearing on change of plea is set for July 16th in Miami, Florida.
Brown is the founder and owner of Brown Hand Center among other businesses.
