Fort Bend County deputies search for mentally ill man

The man, 30, was last seen on Tuesday at his group home

Henderson went missing from his group home on Tuesday.

HOUSTON – Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office deputies are looking for a man who walked away from a group home.

Matthew Bryan Henderson, 30, was last seen Tuesday evening at his group home on the 7300 block of Addicks Clodine Road, in the Mission Bend subdivision.

The home is located north of Bissonnet Street, south of Bellaire Boulevard and west of highway 6.

Group home staff contacted the sheriff's office on Wednesday afternoon.

Deputies searched the immediate neighborhood  and local parks, but did not find him.

Investigators have also contacted area medical facilities and law enforcement agencies.

Henderson is described as a white male, 5 feet, 7 inches, weighing about 170 pounds.

Henderson has blonde hair, blue eyes and was last seen wearing a yellow shirt, tan pants, red shoes and he was also carrying a red backpack.

He has also been diagnosed with mental health issues.

Henderson does not have family in the immediate area and he is not familiar with the Houston area.

Group home staff members say Henderson does not have money on him and he has only been in the home for about six weeks.
