HOUSTON – Confessions may be good for the soul, but these days more and more young people are anonymously unveiling their deepest, darkest secrets online.
Confession pages are all the rage at several local high schools and colleges. Everything from an individual's personal struggles to their sexual escapades to the most embarrassing moments of their lives are popping up on the Internet.

"They're actually pretty funny," University of Houston student Fekerta Gelan said.
With more than 14,000 likes on Facebook, the "UH Confessions" student-run page has become so popular that this new phenomenon now has college administrators alarmed. As a result, they're urging students to be careful and to consider the consequences these postings and comments could have on their futures.
"Nothing is anonymous," said Cammie Moise, a social media expert.
Moise said the risk is real and warns students who are just dying to get something off their chest to really think twice.
"If an employer is going to look at your profile is that something you really want exposed?" Moise asked.
Racy or tame, some students agree, saying the last thing they want is for their words to one day come back and haunt them.
"I just don't think it's the safest environment to kind of be heard and necessarily get your voice across," student Channler Hill said.
"I don't see anything wrong with making comments, but you have to think twice about what you post before posting in that situation," student Rashad Eaglin said.
