HOUSTON – A student in Ft. Bend ISD has been accused of shooting a fellow student with a pellet gun on the way to school Thursday, the district said.
A spokesperson said the fourth grader at Oyster Creek Elementary was walking to school when he pulled a pellet gun out of his backpack and shot a student with two pellets.
In a note to parents, the principal said the student who was shot was not seriously hurt. The district said the pellets did not break the skin.
A spokesperson said the student who was carrying the gun will be disciplined.
