MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – Two men were charged with arson after a series of fires in Lake Conroe.
Montgomery County Sheriff's Office deputies has been investigating several criminal mischief cases in the Walden subdivision of Lake Conroe. Several mailboxes were burned, street lights were shot out, and damage was down to the Walden Yacht Club and the Walden Racquet Club.

Last Thursday, deputies pulled over a vehicle with two men, Michael Thomas Wilder and Mason Tye Watson, inside.
The men allowed deputies to search the vehicles. Deputies found two BB guns in the truck.
Wilder and Watson then admitted to committing crimes in the neighborhood, detectives said.
Both are charged with arson. Additional charges are pending.
