New Apple patent suggests waterproof iPhone

Apple might be working on a waterproof iPhone.

The tech giant filed a patent last week that outlines a system for taking better pictures underwater. The new tech would improve color balancing underwater. While it sounds alluring, experts warn Apple fans to not get their hopes up just yet. Some patents are never actually used.

The iPhone 6 laid the groundwork for a water-resistant device and the iPhone 7 is expected to improve on it. Apple is widely expected to unveil the new phone in early September and start selling it later in the month.
