HOUSTON – The Boys and Girls Club of greater Houston held their 28th annual Great Futures dinner at the Hilton Americas.
The Boys and Girls club services over 11,000 kids throughout Houston.
They provide programs based on the interests of the boys and girls and help them learn to reach their full potential with activities and life skills training.
They are hoping to grow their programs and reach more kids.
They had a live and silent auction with items from the Texans, Astros, Rockets and Dynamo and they even had a special visit from a famous mascot.
KPRC 2’s Khambrell Marshall was the emcee of the event.
Te’A Edwards was chosen and honored as Youth of the Year and says she will continue to work with Boys and Girls Club.
