A woman was struck and killed by multiple vehicles while walking in the southbound lane of Highway 6 on Thursday night in west Harris County.

A witness called the Houston Police Department about a body in the roadway, where investigators found the unidentified man, believed to be homeless, dead in the street, and treating it as a deadly hit-and-run crash while looking for the accused driver.

According to police, it is believed the man might have jumped off the connector ramp and was then struck by a vehicle on the service road.
