1 killed in hit-and-run crash near Buffalo Bayou, search underway for driver

HOUSTON – Police say a person died Thursday morning in east Houston after a driver hit them and fled the scene.
Details are limited, but according to Houston PD , officers were called to the 5500 block of Harvey Wilson Dr. near Buffalo Bayou a little before 5:45 a.m.
