HOUSTON – Five men were injured and one was killed late Friday in a shooting at a car wash in southwest Houston, according to the Houston Police Department. At approximately 10 p.m., officers were dispatched to the car wash, located in the 8700 block of Beechnut Street near S Gessner Road, in reference to a shooting. Inside was one Hispanic man and three other unknown men who opened fire at the group before fleeing the scene. The victim who was grazed on the head was transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition and is expected to survive, said Willkens. The men had been transported from the scene via private vehicle.
