I'm in awe! The NIOSA rain rock actually worked!
I'm in awe! The NIOSA rain rock actually worked!
Are you looking for a little siesta in the middle of Fiesta? Check out the San Antonio Botanical Garden. It's quiet, shaded, and beautiful.
Like Sarah said, the rain showers are ending in time for tonight's Texa Cavaliers River Parade. Viva Fiesta!
All the grey with none of the rain. So sad.
I just found out where Woodlawn Lake and the ancient Mesoamerican city of San Lorenzo collide.
In San Antonio there exists a replica facade of the Alamo. The replica Alamo is owned by a blood bank. The real Alamo remembers one of the bloodiest battles in Texas history. I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried.
Anti-crepuscular rays as seen from an airplane at sunset. Wow!
A stunning early Easter Sunday morning light show.
I'm sending this out early in case I forget to tomorrow. Happy Easter!
An awe inspiring start to this slow Good Friday morning.
An awe inspiring start to this slow Good Friday morning.
I have found a fiesta of three spiral galaxies. It's known as the Leo Triplet. They are a little too far to get to by Uber. The furthest galaxy in the picture is about 35 million light years from Earth. The closest is about 31 million light years from Earth.
I could gaze at crepuscular rays for daze and days.

Tonight's sunset oak pollen fiesta!
For sky watchers, seeing the clouds flow on by ray after glorious ray is a great way to start a day.
The good is we had a nice, cool, and comfortable morning. The bad is oak pollen is still crazy high. The ugly is that the heat and humidity have returned. One out of three ain't bad.
My cat is having a spa day. My cat lives a much better life than I do.
๐ต I see a Pink Moon rising. I see Barbie on the way. ๐ต
The Moon really was pink tonight! Wow!
Isn't a Pink Moon really just a Barbie Moon? (I added the pink color to the Moon. Barbie told me to do it.)
A picture of the small patch of bluebonnets and the bushes with red flowers located at the Dunkin' Donuts near 1604 and Blanco Rd. They do exist! It just enough bluebonnets for family photos.
I don't know why we call the April full moon the Pink Moon, but maybe Pink does. Get this party started right now!
