AMC theaters is looking to break the golden rule by allowing moviegoers to text during movies.
The company's CEO, Adam Aron, told Variety Magazine that he's open to making some theaters texting and mobile-device friendly, which is a move to appeal to millennials.

"You can't tell a 22-year-old to turn off their cellphone. That's not how they live their life," Aron said.
Aron said that he is aware that the use of phones in theater irritates many people, but said AMC would have to find away to keep everybody happy. For example, AMC could set up specific auditoriums to be more texting friendly.
