According to deputies, the suspects tried to rob a Texaco gas station in the 15600 block of the East Freeway around 12:15 a.m. Wednesday. However, the store manager locked the doors as the trio tried to enter. That's when the men took off in a black Saturn.

About an hour later the men robbed an Exxon gas station at gunpoint in the 200 block of Dell Dale and the East Freeway. Officials say they stole $130.

While searching the area, deputies saw the suspects' car at a Valero gas station on Dell Dale and Wallisville Road.
