Houston has potholes, cracked roads, and it’s clear citizens are complaining to 311 and anyone who will listen to get them fixed.
🚗 Huge hole left in busy roadway for months causing thousands of dollars in damage to vehicles
Driving to work on city streets shouldn’t be dangerous but people who live on the city’s south side say, despite repeated complaints to Houston Public Works about a huge hole in a major roadway, the city delayed repairs, causing thousands of dollars in damage to vehicles. They reached out to KPRC 2 Investigates to get the problem smoothed out.
🚗 How to get the city to pay for pothole damage
No matter where you drive, just about every area in Houston has one thing in common... roadways pocked with potholes. If you have hit one, you are not alone. They’re not only ugly, but they can also really damage your vehicle. KPRC 2 Investigator Amy Davis explains what to do to get the city of Houston to pay for your repairs if you hit a pothole and cause damage to your vehicle.
