The team’s journey to the regional semifinals marked a historic achievement, a feat not accomplished since 1994. With a stellar 12-1 record, this marks the best performance for a Willis team since 1962, a testament to Miller’s strategic acumen and leadership.
  • Vincent Grayson, Booker T Washington: Grayson’s impact on the basketball court has been nothing short of historic, as he led the team to their first-ever UIL state tournament in 2023, marking a significant milestone for Booker T. Washington. Despite falling short in the championship game, Grayson’s coaching prowess has been evident over the last two years. The team’s remarkable 31-1 record in district play speaks volumes about their consistent excellence under his guidance, resulting in back-to-back district titles.
