American bald eagle rescued from trampoline net in Cypress

CYPRESS, Texas – An American bald eagle was rescued and treated by a Harris County game warden after being caught in a trampoline net in Cypress on Dec. 17, according to a Facebook post by the game wardens.

A resident reported the injured bird in his backyard and said he believed the bird may have been injured after getting tangled in the trampoline net.

A Harris County game warden captured the eagle and transported it to the Wildlife Center of Texas in Houston.

The eagle will be cared for and will receive necessary attention, according to the post.
