HOUSTON – Andie MacDowell is defending herself on Twitter after she complained she paid to fly first class, but was put in coach instead.
The actress was riding flying American Airlines to Charleston, South Carolina when she says an employee reassigned her to "tourist" class because of "my dog that I pre-booked and paid for."

MacDowell quickly addressed the tweets and apologized, saying that "just hate that I paid for what I didn't get" and the customer service was "rude."
She added that "I'm very happy flying coach I'm happy on a bus or the subway but if I play [sic] for first class, that's where I want to be, that was the point."
