HOUSTON – Police have released surveillance video in the hopes of catching three men wanted in an armed robbery of a cell phone store last week.
Houston police say at around 1:35 p.m. on July 17 three males armed with guns got out of a black Chevrolet Impala, entered the Sprint store at 4868 Beechnut in Meyerland and demanded money from employees. One suspect struck an employee with a gun.
The suspects fled the scene with money and a number of cell phones, according to police.
The suspects are described only as three black males believed to be 25 to 30 years old. All had their faces covered in the incident.
Police believe the same suspects committed similar robberies across the Houston area, including one at a Sprint store at 2802 North Shepherd Drive on the morning of July 9.
