Couple dies after collision with suspected intoxicated driver in Kingwood

A man and woman both died after they were involved in a two-car collision with a suspected drunk driver in Kingwood.

The crash happened near the intersection of West Lake Houston Parkway and Magnolia Cove Drive and was reported at around 5:45 p.m. Sunday evening.

The crash involved a couple in an SUV and another driver in a pickup truck.

The driver of the pickup truck was transported to a nearby hospital, and their current condition is not known. According to Houston Police Department, the driver showed signs of intoxication and speed was a factor in the crash.
