HOUSTON – A man has been arrested in connection with a series of robberies in East Harris County.
On Monday at 2 a.m., Harris County deputies responded to a robbery at the Valero Store located in the 700 block of Normandy Street.

A store clerk told authorities that a man walked into the store, demanded cash and threatened her. She said he then took off on foot with the money.
Around 6 a.m., deputies responded to a second robbery at the Ryan's Dry Cleaners located in the 14000 of Woodforest.
A witness told deputies that a man entered the business, removed a knife from his pocket and stated "give me all the money."
The witness said the man then left the business.
A third robbery took place around 4:30 p.m. at the Great Cuts n Style in the 400 block of Uvalde Road.
A man walked up to the front counter, pulled out a knife and demanded that the clerk open the cash register and hand him the money, deputies said.
The clerk told deputies that the man took off on foot traveling north toward Woodforest Boulevard.
Less than two hours later, a fourth robbery was reported at the Nations Cleaners located in the 14000 block of Woodforest after a man showed a knife, demanded money and ran away.
On Tuesday around 11:45 p.m., Harris County deputies received a call from the the Los Charros restaurant, located in the 500 block of 508 Normandy.
According to witnesses, a man tried to force his way into the restaurant with a knife.
When deputies got there, they arrested Nathaniel Ilagan while he was getting in his vehicle.
Ilagan has been charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
