Car crash following Humble police pursuit causes closure of multiple lanes in Atascocita

A police chase that resulted in a car crash has led multiple lanes to be closed in the Atascocita area.

Harris County Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman reported that Humble Police Department officers were chasing a suspect who crashed near the intersection of FM 1960 Road East and Kings Park Way.

All southbound lanes on Kings Park Way and one westbound lane of 1960 are blocked off as emergency crews work to clear debris from the roads.

The involved driver’s status is not clear at this time, and authorities have not revealed details into the situation that led to the chase.
