Will beautiful weather stick around in time for the Solar Eclipse?! 😅

Good morning everyone and HAPPY HUMP DAY!

I’m Ahmed Humble, and while we’re waking up to cool weather now, it’s about to get really sunny....for the next few days. 😅 Then... the rain will be back and that may impact our solar eclipse viewing. 😩

Anthony Yanez is keeping a close eye on this and we’ll continue to bug him so we’re able to be better prepared. Either way though, KPRC 2 has some alternatives available if Mother Nature decides to rain on our eclipse parade. (Yes, pun intended. No, I will not apologize for it.)

Weather

TODAY: 78° TONIGHT: 52°

Meteorologist Anthony Yanez says:

“Cool-feeling mornings are back, lasting through Saturday. And we’ll have beautifully sunny skies through Friday. It’s a nice stretch of spring weather.

“Our changes come this weekend. It gets cloudy and humid on Saturday with our next chance of rain on Sunday. The issue with this rain is it may stick around off and on through Wednesday of next week. And that would mean our eclipse viewing may be cloudy and rainy Monday.”
