CYPRESS, Texas – Harris County sheriff’s deputies said they are investigating after a deadly crash on Highway 290 Monday. Deputies said the crash happened on Highway 290 near Huffmeister in Northwest Harris County around 2:54 a.m. According to HCSO, a female driver was critically injured in the crash and a man died. Deputies said the man, who they believe was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle. All main lanes of 290 inbound were closed due to the fatal accident, deputies said.

He told police he heard there was a woman who had been shot multiple times in room 239.During a welfare check, authorities found a woman who is believed to be around 30 years old. Officers say people who knew her have said she may have been around seven months pregnant. They didn't hear anything. 12-year-old girl found submerged in water, four others hurt when truck veers off road
WALLER, Texas - A 12-year-old girl is brain dead after a major car accident in northwest Harris County near Waller late last week. According to authorities, the accident happened around 4:40 a.m. Friday on Knebel Road near Stokes Road. A 12-year-old girl who was in the truck was ejected and was found submerged in water, deputies said. According to authorities, two victims -- a 15-year-old female front seat center passenger and a 15-year-old male right front seat passenger -- also had to be transported via LifeFlight. The driver and the back left passenger, who was a 21-year-old man, was driving to Memorial Hermann in The Woodlands.
