Train slams into 18-wheeler near 290 in Jersey Village

A major accident involving a train and an 18-wheeler occurred on Wright Road at the eastbound service road of Highway 290.

Fortunately, there have been no injuries reported.

This happened right before lunchtime.

Cleanup crews are currently on the scene working to clear the area and restore normal traffic flow.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
