It’s Elton John’s birthday and he’s got rare music for fans

The other songs are: “Holiday Inn,” “Keep It a Mystery,” “Smokestack Children,” “Two of a Kind” and “Conquer the Sun.”“Scarecrow” marks the first time Elton put his music to Taupin’s lyrics. “‘Scarecrow’ will always have a very special place in my heart, and I know that Bernie feels the same way too. The six songs will be added to the digital version of the collection “Elton: Jewel Box,” which was first released in November and contains more than 100 rare songs spanning 1965 to 2019.

Vanessa Guillen remembered on what would have been her 21st birthday

HOUSTON – Many remembered Vanessa Guillen on the day of what would’ve been her 21st birthday. Houston ISD declared Wednesday “Vanessa Guillen Day.”The district released a video when her loved ones returned to Chavez High School, where she graduated. They were able to give her a special day just for her on her birthday,” said Yovanna. She was young and I’m just finding out today it was her 21st birthday. She also celebrated her 21st birthday this month.

Houston community invited to celebrate Korean War Veteran’s 89th birthday with parade

HOUSTON – A Houston veteran is celebrating a special milestone on Saturday and the community is invited. is turning 89 years old on Aug. 8 and everyone is on the invitation list for his socially distanced birthday parade. The 88-year-old served in the U.S. Army for 22 years, is Purple Heart recipient and Korean War veteran. When he was released 33 months later, Houston welcomed him home with a parade on August 10, 1953, two days after his birthday. So it’s fitting Houstonians will parade down the streets for him once more on his 89th birthday on August 8.

Muskegon, MI (WNEM) – A guy in Michigan celebrated his birthday over the weekend with texts and phone calls from hundreds of people. Greg Johnson, Pranked on Birthday: "I knew something was coming, 100%, but I was not expecting this cause he got me a couple days earlier," said birthday boy Greg Johnson. Greg, the owner of a fairly new car, was surprised to get a call from his dealership last week. When Greg picked up his car, the hood, the rear window, and both sides were covered in pictures.
