VIDEO: Man pulls knife on employee before stealing items from store on Houston’s south side

HOUSTON – The Houston Police Department is searching for a man who pulled out a knife on an employee before stealing items from a store on Houston’s south side.

On April 13 at around 6 p.m., an unknown man entered a general store located in the 8300 block of Calhoun.

Police said the man walked into the store, grabbed merchandise and attempted to walk out without paying for the items.

As an employee approached the suspect, he pulled out a knife. The employee then backed away and the suspect fled the location in an unknown direction, HPD said.

The suspect is believed to be 30 to 40 years old and had on a pink shirt and black pants.
