HOUSTON – Researchers at Arizona State University found the most stressful time for mothers is when their children are in middle school.

Women of middle-school aged children reported feeling the most stress compared to mothers with children in other age groups (infant, preschool, elementary school, high school and adult). They were also found to be more depressed and had less feelings of satisfaction.

Researchers found mothers of babies and adults to be the most satisfied.
