HUMBLE, Texas – Three suspects were arrested Tuesday after stealing an ATM machine during a smash-and-grab at gas station in Humble.
Police said the suspects backed a pickup truck into the front of the Exxon store in the 19500 block of McKay and Business FM 1960. They loaded the ATM into the vehicle and took off.
The suspects ditched the truck and fled, but two were apprehended almost immediately. The third suspect initially got away, but was tracked down later and taken into custody.
Police found the truck with the ATM, but all the cash was gone. No one was hurt.
The owner says the damages are upwards of tens of thousands of dollars.
Darren Anthony Carr, 20, Robert James Lewis, 17, and Prince Levias Woods, 26, are all facing charges.
