HOUSTON – Storm damage in the Spring Branch area in Northwest Houston was the result of a tornado.
The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado moved through a portion of Spring Branch Saturday.

The tornado touched down along Johanna Drive, south of Long Point, and lifted north of Hammerly Drive.
The National Weather Service said it was only 10 yards in width.
