Man sought in robbery of bank inside west Houston H-E-B

HOUSTON – The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force is investigating a robbery.

The robbery happened at the Wells Fargo Bank around 1:45 p.m. located inside an HEB store at 11815 Westheimer Rd. on Monday.

According to officials, the suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a bank robbery demand note.

In the note, the robber threatened to have a weapon, but a weapon was not seen by witnesses.

After receiving some cash, the robber left the grocery store and was photographed getting into the passenger side of a blue-gray colored Ford Taurus.

No one was hurt during the robbery.

The bank robber is described as a heavy set black male, around 5 foot 10 to 6 foot 1.

The man looked to be around 45 to 50 years old, with dark complexion.

He had a receding hairline and his head was shaved bald.

The robber wore navy blue medical scrubs during the robbery.
