In a recent roundup of the top party colleges, one Texas higher education institution made the top 25.

Once again, The Woodlands has been named the No. 1 best city to live in America in Niche’s annual rankings.

Houston itself landed at No. 71 on the list, with a grade of A-.

Katy Independent School District has been ranked as the No. 1 school district in the Houston area, according to Niche’s Best Schools list.

Houston’s Rice University has been ranked 7th best overall in colleges across the U.S.

HOUSTON Rice University ranks no. 7 on the list of 2021 Best Colleges in America based on an analysis by Niche, a ranking and review site. The university, located in Houston, received an overall grade of an A+. Rice University is the highest-ranked Texas institution to make the list.

According to Niche, a ranking and review site, The Woodlands is one of the top locations to live in the United States. The Woodlands township ranked second on the list, following Arlington, Va. which claimed the top spot. The report also recognized the township for its highly rated public schools. On prior lists curated by Niche, The Woodland has ranked second for best cities to raise a family; third for best cities to buy a house; seventh for cities with the best public schools; and eighth for best cities to retire in America. The Woodlands earned an A+ for its overall grade on the Niche report card.

If you’re planning to retire in Texas, West Lake Hills is the place to be. The Austin-area suburb is ranked the 29th best place in America to retire by Niche, a ranking and review site. West Lake Hills in Austin is among only 12 places in the first 50 on the list that aren’t in Florida. Niche gives West Lake Hills an overall grade of A-plus. West Lake Hills is located about five miles northwest of downtown Austin.

HOUSTON - As Houston becomes the third largest city in the US, millennials and young professionals have a variety of living options. Niche, a ranking and review site that ranks neighborhoods, colleges, places to work and schools, recently released the 2019 Best Neighborhoods for Young Professionals in the Houston area. The list was created based on a variety of factors including number of millennial residents, job opportunities and access to bars, restaurants and affordable housing.
