Neighbors complain of rampant graffiti in Mission Bend
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Some neighbors along Winkelman road in Harris County are concerned about graffiti, which they believe references gang activity. KPRC 2 asked the Harris County Sheriff’s Office about the issue. “Just because you see some gang graffiti doesn’t in and of itself mean gang activity has to be on the increase,” said Sgt. The neighbors we spoke with said they have not seen an increase in problems but the graffiti is still concerning. The sheriff’s office said if anyone sees something they should call deputies.
Fight to rid lawn of empty pipe ends after Turning To Ted
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- When a Mission Bend neighborhood got better underground wiring for cable and internet, the progress actually made Robert McGhee's yard worse. The company quickly tracked down a subcontractor in our area to take away the pipe stuck in the middle of McGhee's front yard. "It shouldn't take this much effort," McGhee said.We wanted to know what happened that left the pipe there for so long, but AT&T didn't say. Child struck by vehicle in Fort Bend County
FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office is responding to an auto pedestrian accident Friday in the Mission Bend area. Officials say a 9-year-old boy was riding his bicycle in the 16100 block of Crooked Arrow Drive when he was hit by a Toyota 4Runner. The boy was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital by LifeFlight. There is no word on his condition.
