The company's brands include luxury carmakers Audi and Porsche, where profits per vehicle are higher than for more basic transportation.

HOUSTON – Police said they are trying to figure out what led up to a shooting that left two men dead inside a car in southeast Houston Wednesday. Officers said they arrived at the scene just after midnight on Bricker Street and Coffee. According to investigators, the victims, who were in their 20s, were found inside a parked Porsche that was still running. Witnesses told police at least two men were seen running away and have video of them possibly getting away in an SUV.

HOUSTON – Two Houston police officers were rushed to the hospital after a crash Wednesday, authorities said. Police said the crash happened after a car slammed into their patrol vehicle at the intersection of Fairdale Lane and Fountain View Drive around midnight. According to investigators, a Porsche was at a stop sign but failed to yield for a patrol vehicle and smashed into it as it tried to make a left turn. Authorities said the two officers and two men in the Porsche were all taken to the hospital. All people involved are expected to survive.
