Investigators say a woman, possibly unhoused, was crossing onto the Eastex Freeway onramp going southbound just before Hopper Road when another driver on the feeder but getting on the onramp hit and killed her.

HOUSTON – A motorcyclist is dead after he was run over by several vehicles in southwest Houston Wednesday, police said. Officers said it happened at the West Loop at South Post Oak around 10:30 p.m. According to investigators, the motorcyclist crashed into a vehicle and fell off his bike. Police said that’s when the other vehicles ran him over. Investigators said he was declared dead at the scene.

HOUSTON, Texas – A motorcyclist was killed in a single-vehicle crash in downtown Houston overnight, according to the Houston Police Department. Just after 12:05 a.m. on Saturday, officers were dispatched to a location near the intersection of Commerce Street and Travis Street on a report of a motorcycle crash. On arrival, units located a downed motorcyclist. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. Investigators said the motorcyclist was driving northbound on Travis Street when he attempted to pass a car and lost control of his motorcycle.

HOUSTON – A motorcyclist miraculously survived a crash that ended with him being dragged a half a mile down the East Freeway Tuesday, police said. According to officers, the motorcyclist was riding with a group when he sped up and lost control. Police said he hit a vehicle and fell off the motorcycle, which caught on fire. That’s when police said a white Chevy pickup truck hit him and dragged him down the East Freeway. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

HOUSTON – A motorcyclist is dead after he led deputies on a high-speed chase Tuesday, deputies said. Deputies said the chase came to an end on Mills Road and FM 1960 after the man ran a red light and crashed into a woman’s car. According to deputies, the rider was going about 100 mph when he struck a 70-year-old woman's car, sending it into a pole. The woman is being treated for minor injuries but the motorcyclist died at the scene, deputies said. Deputies said they tried to pull the man over after receiving a tip about a motorcycle that was stolen Monday.

HOUSTON – Authorities spent Thursday night searching for a motorcyclist who led them on a chase. The chase began just before 6 p.m. on U.S. Highway 59 near Will Clayton Parkway after authorities attempted a traffic stop. By 6:45 p.m., the motorcycle driver had parked the motorcycle in the parking lot of a hotel near 59 and Kingwood Drive. It appeared the motorcycle driver may have fled the scene on foot, and authorities appeared to be establishing a perimeter in the area. By 7:30 p.m., officials said the motorcyclist had been taken into custody.
