Local UT student wins $10,000 from Chipotle TikTok challenge
HOUSTON โ A University of Texas student from Houston won $10,000 from Chipotle for a TikTok video. Faith Bang shared her customized order on TikTok, apart from the social media campaign โChipotle Royalty,โ featuring the item on the restaurantโs digital menu. In the TikTok video, Bang illustrated that she spent the last $8 of the $12 in her checking account on a burrito bowl. Her go-to order, dubbed the Bang Bowl, includes carnitas, ยฝ white rice, ยฝ brown rice, fajitas, fresh tomato salsa, extra roasted chili-corn salsa, cheese, lettuce and tortilla on the side. Chipotle is bringing back its most popular new menu item; When you can expect it again in Houston
HOUSTON โ Carne asada is back on Chipotleโs menu at some locations in Houston. The restaurantโs popular new menu item was first introduced in 2019. According to a spokesperson for Chipotle, carne asada contributed to an 11% rise in same-store sales during the quarter it was introduced, CNN reports. Carne asada will be first available to rewards members who order online or through the Chipotle app beginning Tuesday. It will be back on the restaurantโs menu and delivery apps beginning September 28.
Use your Instagram account to snag a free meal from Chipotle
Chipotle is dropping free burrito codes on Instagram. The first 500 people to text the code will be gifted one free entree. According to the fine print, the redemption codes are only good for digital orders from participating Chipotle restaurants in the United States. Thereโs a limit of one code per mobile number. Codes expire December 31.
